The Fourth Student Science Fiction Short Story Contest
Chaired by Nalo Hopkinson
First prize: $750
Second prize: $500
Open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students in the University of California system
Deadline: Submissions must be sent no later than December 7, 2012.
Requirements:
- Subject: Stories must be recognizable as Speculative Fiction, which can include science fiction, fantasy, horror or utopian/dystopian literature.
- Length: Stories must not exceed 6000 words.
